A mouse is a navigational tool which allows you to manipulate the screen and execute certain functions.
There are several steps involved in using a mouse.
1. Point.
Before you can do anything, you must point or place your mouse over the object on the computer screen .When you move your mouse on its mouse pad, the rubber ball in the bottom of the mouse rolls on the pad.
2. Click
To click is to press one of the mouse buttons, usually the left mouse button and release it quickly.
3. Click and Hold
Click and hold means to press one of the mouse buttons and hold it down, not releasing it.
You would use this action to move an object on the screen and "drag" it to
another position on the screen.
4. Double Clicking
Double clicking requires you to click the left mouse button very rapidly to open or launch a program.
